In French there are 3 different groups.
Let's check the first one!

A verb from the first group is a verb that finishes by -ER (except for “aller” which is a verb from the 3rd group).
Every verb ending is the same and never change regardless of the type of the sentence.

Let's try with the verb “JOUER” (to play)

Je joue
Tu joues
Il/elle joue
Nous jouons
Vous jouez
Ils/elles jouent

/!\ Warning: It is important to remember that the verb ending with -ger have to put an -e at the first person plural
For example the verb “Manger” (to eat)

Je mange
Tu manges
Il/elle mange
Nous mangeons
Vous mangez
Ils/elles mangent
